The year is almost over, so I thought I would share some statistics for the Matsu Bonsai blog.

Since taking the site live in March 2008 the site has grown to be quite popular. Here are some statistics for the year.

Bartolomo, good luck with the juniper. If this is your first experience with bonsai I would suggest seeking out a local club. Club members can be a great resource to those new to bonsai.

Alexa is a very important benchmark to determine the rankings and traffic of sites. Google is placed at the 2nd position as per Alexa rankings and www.alexa.com/.../main?url=www.fortunehotels.in traffic rankings and is facing tough competition from Live.com and of course Yahoo.

Congrats on your success. Ohh, I would not trust Alexa. I'm in web development and all it does is count how many people came to your site with the Alexa toolbar. People with the toolbar and a bot inflate their ratings all the time.

Congrats. Pushing more bandwidth of content can be hard as bonsai drive not as much traffic as some popular topics.

I also keep a close watch on stats on my site and doing search engine optimisation for bonsai related material is hardy.

keep up the good work. what impress me the most is the 1000+ visitors per month.
